MERCER COUNTY, PA AARP CHAPTER 4311

In 1987, AARP Chapter 4311 was incorporated by the State of Pennsylvania to do community service in Plantation Park, and all of our members are shareholders of Plantation Park. We are unique because we are the only AARP Chapter designated by the State to do their community service in a camp ground. Since 1987 and up to the present time, our chapter 4311 has paid for and constructed the AARP Island, the Gazebo, and all the street signs and walkway signs in the park. Our members have also helped put the siding on the club house, the wooden decks on the VIP cabins and helped construct the covered bridge at the lake. We are proud of the service we provide to Plantation Park and we will continue that service in the coming years.
